Turjo Basak

Turjo is a motherless child and lives with his father and brother. His mother was killed in an accident, many years ago. Turjo is the younger among two brothers. His elder brother is in class V. His father works as a contractual day-labour, earning 35-50 Taka every day. It is very tough for his father to run the family. In spite of this, Turjo’s father wants his two sons to get educated and become established in the society. That’s why he is doing a lot of hard work, in spite of being ill. Turjo likes to play cricket very much. He wants to become a doctor in future.
