
Asmani’s “Twenty Taka Bazar”
In order to stand by the helpless people during the difficult time of the global epidemic, a completely different type of ongoing activity has started in Mymensingh City at a price of only Tk 20/-. This activity has been started at the initiative of the nobles dedicated to human service and the Asmani Development Society. An exchange of views between the representatives of the Asmani and the civil society decided that the whole country was at a standstill during this difficult time in Corona. Business, school, college, office and almost everything is closed. Due to which everyone is in a catastrophic situation. Especially those who are middle class, lower middle class, working for a day’s wages, who do not get sufficient food but can’t speak of it, they, are basically in the worst situation at present, among them food aid will be provided. On this basis, the Asmani Development Society is working relentlessly in the belief that it will continue the work by collecting donations from various professionals of the society. The “market for twenty taka” is a package bag made of very basisc goods as like, Rice (3kg), Flour (2kg), Pulses (0.5kg) , Potatoes (2kg), Onions (0.5kg) and Oil (0.5 ltr). When a helpless person receives this service, he / she is asked to pay BDT =20 / – (0.23 USD) for the package so that he / she does not consider it as a donation. “Twenty Taka Bazar” activity will continue. Asmani Development Society is appealing to people from all walks of life to stand by the helpless people.
